No One Is Emptier Than He Who Is Full Of Himself

No one is emptier than the one who is full of himself

There is no one who is as empty as one who is full of himself, because when one closes himself alone in his bubble, his heart becomes selfish and his narcissistic interests prevent him from enriching himself with everything that the world offers him.

That is why it is said that those narcissistic people, who are only interested in “the first person” become crude, rude and hesitant, despite the fact that their beliefs make them think that their coldness and their “great” identity is a great example to the world.

Because those narcissistic people do not realize that in their egoism they become intractable while at the same time they lose the opportunity to enjoy thousands of things while they are becoming more and more empty and without essence.

The 8 voids of narcissistic people

Sadly, narcissistic people have to live with many voids due to their selflessness and self-centeredness. Let’s see some of them:

1-emptiness of empathy

Their constant “I, my, me, with me” make them lose the ability to put themselves in the place of the other. It is no longer that they are not interested, but that it becomes a matter of habit. For this reason, narcissistic people  day after day lose the capacity for mutual understanding, since they only manage to validate their feelings by attending to their interests and needs.

2-Voids of healthy self-esteem

At this point it should be remembered that their own understanding and acceptance of their interior becomes necessarily diminished, since narcissists can  not discover themselves beyond what their imagination creates and recreates.

That is why, because of these projections, they cultivate false self-esteem, fail to achieve their own self-knowledge, and prevent themselves from loving themselves without reservation and fully.

3-Loyalty and honesty gaps

Honesty and loyalty express respect for oneself and for others, they color the life of trust, sincerity and openness, showing the deepest essence with frankness.

4-Emptiness of love

Is there anything sadder than not knowing the power of love? Loving and being loved requires consideration, respect, responsibility and values. Therefore, those who are only capable of loving themselves will not be able to carry a feeling as deep as love further, thus drastically limiting their emotional repertoire.

5-Voids of tolerance and humility

Narcissists are not able to tolerate and accept the opinions, feelings, behaviors or thoughts of others as long as they are different from their own. That is why they position themselves on the side of the void, preventing a positive attitude towards relationships and diversity, skewing their internal dialogue and their own emotional and social growth.

6-Liability gaps

A person who only thinks of himself is incapable of responding and accounting for his actions to the rest of society. As a consequence, there is an even greater social isolation that generates a strong immaturity that allows him to even cultivate those facets that interest him.

7-Voids of life and freedom

Narcissistic people have voids of life and freedom, because they are subject to their beliefs and their thoughts that will be limited in their attitudes and in their desires, whether they are aware of them or not. A free person hates to possess or display power, because the moment he does so he will become a slave to his own charge, thus renouncing his life and his desires.

8-Gaps of identity

This is, if possible, the hardest and most consistent with all the gaps discussed. A person who only thinks of himself and who only knows how to admire and love his qualities is empty of identity, because he will not be anyone in the world by not having a world of reference.

That is to say, whoever believes himself more than anyone else can never aspire to grow in the world, will limit himself to listening to his own version of his existence and will only be able to remain in the bitterness of his empty aspirations and devoid of all emotion.
