Good Health Is The Result Of Consistency And Balance

Good health is the result of consistency and balance

Several of the complementary or alternative medicines maintain that good health is the result of inner balance, more than of any external factor. That balance, in turn, is achieved through coherence in the way of thinking, feeling and acting. All of this is achieved when the conflicts that many of us have are resolved.

To reach these conclusions, there are branches such as “pathobiography” that studies the moment in life when a disease occurs. The Chiozza Foundation in Argentina, for example, has thousands of cases reviewed over 30 years. In all of them, a direct relationship was found between loss of health and some conflict that people refused to acknowledge.

For his part, Enric Corbera, a Spanish psychologist, points out that the key to recovering good health is to reach the “hidden emotion”. According to him, said emotion could even be transmitted from a previous generation.

Thus, to have good health we have to investigate inside ourselves to identify those dark corners that need cleaning. Awareness translates into more consistent behaviors, that is, more consistent with what we really want to do. Finally, this is projected as a state of greater balance and, with it, our body will feel better.

Good health and consistency

There is talk of coherence when what you feel, what you think and do coincides. No human being has absolute coherence, but those with good mental health are basically coherent in the most important aspects of their lives. That is why they do not have to do a great emotional drain in front of every situation.

Consistent people tend to be interested in their work. They look for the companies that they like and establish relationships in which harmony and affection prevail. They are also good at negotiating with the natural limitations they perceive in them, without falling into anguish or despair. And, as they have precisely that coherence, in general they are in good health, since their emotions move at a rhythm that they can control and that they can use.

On the other hand, other people experience constant discomfort with their way of life, but they cannot pinpoint exactly where it comes from, nor do they make any real efforts to overcome this discomfort. They would like to be someone else, or to live differently, but they don’t really make an effort to make those changes.

In that case, each situation can involve a high degree of emotional exhaustion. If you work on what you do not want, you will have to make a lot of effort to bear it. If they live or establish ties in which there is a strong component of mutual damage, they will be forced to overcome thousands of difficulties at all times. And so it is, in that tidal wave of conflicting emotions, it is most likely that your health will end up suffering.

Balance and health

Many define the disease as the loss of balance in one or more aspects of life. A health discomfort would indicate that there has been an excess or a defect in the exchange with the environment. And, mainly, that the body has not been able to overcome the lack or abundance of something.

When emotions are altered for some reason, what happens is precisely that our body loses its balance and cannot function normally. This imbalance is chemical in the first instance, but if it is maintained for a long time it will physically affect the structure of our organs.

This is easily verified when, for example, you have a great anger, or you have lived something that impresses you a lot and then they ask you to eat. Surely your own body will take care of rejecting the food, because first it must appease the effects of that experience. Once calm is restored, your food will return to normal.

The example is simple, but it serves to illustrate the way in which the emotional can condition the functioning of our body. And if that happens frequently, ultimately, the body ends up getting sick. But it is not the external factor that makes you sick, but those conflicts that are expressed as altered emotional states and that prevent your body from accepting and processing what comes from outside. The path of health is to reach those emotions in disguise, take off the mask and solve them.
